Spellings
Here are a list of high frequency words.
First 100 high frequency words.
Next 200 high frequency words.
In Ash class the children will be working on reading the first 100 words. By the end of year one it would be expected that a child working at age related expectations would be able to spell correctly the first 100 words.
Then by the end of year 3 a child making expected progress should be able to spell correctly the next 200 high frequency words.
